The ring binder had to emphasise Coca-Cola‘s brand image with an attractive, eye-catching design and lamination, and had to be easy to use, also as a tabletop flipchart. |

Achilles and Coca-Cola have been working together for years and in the beginning we designed and produced a ring binder that met the requirements mentioned above.
Achilles adopted the “Achilles-Flippo” idea in order to make the presentation folder easy to use as a tabletop flipchart. In sales, time pressure is often a problem and using a flipchart folder with press-studs is complicated and takes up too much valuable time at appointments. The “Flippo” (a plastic strip with slits) is a simple and inexpensive solution to this problem. It holds the binder’s covers open, converting it instantly into a tabletop flipchart. The Flippo has the Coca-Cola logo printed on it and is hole-punched to ensure that it doesn’t get lost.
The agent and their client were convinced. Since then, in direct collaboration with Coca-Cola, we have created a multi-purpose system comprising various folders. The designs vary, usually matt film lamination e.g. with an image of the “Coca Cola bottle” in partial UV coating, a special matrix of “background motives” and transparent, heat-welded business-card pockets.
Achilles prints, produces and completely assembles the binders including the dividers and separators. Coca Cola uses the different versions in the ring binder range for business partners in sales, as overviews of advertising media, licence-holders and key account customers.
