| ERIMA’s objective was to provide sports retailers with a sales/argumentation guide and specialist documentation on footballs produced by ERIMA. This was particularly important of course during the World Cup. The composition of balls used in various sports had to be displayed in overview. The sales guide/binder had to have a small, handy format and stand out both visually and functionally. The design and manufacture of the entire presentation product (binder, print and finish, content sheets containing product samples and final assembly) had to come “from one source”. |

In our sample studio we developed a small, handy binder in landscape format (15cm x 21cm). We also carried out the 4-colour print; the outside cover in an international design and the print on the inside front cover individualised into several official language versions. We were required to bring together very different material samples (leather covers, foam, reinforcement fabric etc.) in a sensible and attractive system. Cardboard inserts were used for samples of the lighter materials (printed in 1 colour). In this way an overview of the materials and their accompanying descriptions could be integrated into the ring mechanism. We produced and completely assembled the binders including their contents and delivered them to ERIMA before the Football World Cup. The reaction from ERIMA customers and the sales offices was very positive. “The binder is eye-catching, functional and optically very effective.” |
