| Velux wanted to provide architects, building co-operatives and sales partners with first-class documentation which, being architectural drawings, bids for tender and product brochures, the recipient had to have “close to hand”. For this purpose, a product had to be developed that corresponded to Velux’s high-class market image. Functionally, the product had to be a “complete package” that Velux sales staff could personally present or send to their partners and it had to accommodate punched as well as unpunched documents. |
| Solution |
| The slipcase-in-a-slipcase system was developed and produced in accordance with the customer’s requirements. An outside slipcase and an inside slipcase were calibrated in terms of size and print design in such a way that they fitted over one another. The documentation they contain – folders with cardboard pockets and infosheets - was also produced by Achilles and inserted in the slipcases. The entire exterior was laminated with a matt film finish, creating a complete package ready for use. The recipient actually has two products in one. The outside slipcase of this slipcase-in-a-slipcase system can be placed next to its counterpart and can be used for other documents. |
