The firm, Busse Marble and Concrete asked us to develop a binder with which they could present their sample collection to architects. The contents are concrete samples that had to be easily removable. A further application was as a collection of concrete samples for building material retailers. |
| Solution |
| As the concrete samples had to be easily removable, our sample studio came up with a special solution. Pieces of contoured foam were glued into the sturdy 4-piece binder cover as a passepartout to accommodate the marble plates which were then fastened in place. The sample plates can be easily removed, replaced or supplemented. Together with a slipcase, the design print and raised film lamination to match the marble, the complete package is an attractive addition to the bookshelves of architects and building material retailers. |
